Liposuction

Liposuction is an aesthetic surgical procedure in which cannulas are placed through small openings in the skin and excess subcutaneous fat is removed. This adipose tissue is usually localized in the area of the chin, abdomen, gluteus, upper arms and thighs. The best results are achieved in younger people, whose skin is still tight.

The operation is performed under general, spinal or local anesthesia, depending on the size of the region in which the fat tissue needs to be removed. In one procedure, a maximum of 5 liters of adipose tissue can be removed.

After the operation, it is necessary to wear elastic corsets for a month, and the recovery itself proceeds relatively quickly. Patients usually return to daily activities after 3 weeks.
